A harp is actually not strings but percussion and is seated in that section (usually next to the really big gong to keep them awake!) A harmonica used to be called a mouth organ but thats not PC anymore, so harp is better. I hope this helps.

I think the point is that the musical term, "harp" doesn't only refer to the traditional stringed instrument that most people think of, but also to what is colloquially known as a harmonica. So in a nutshell, a harmonica can also be called a harp.
