Description:
A radio broadcast of "I Can't Quit You Baby" from 1968. Led Zeppelin was still starting out as "The New Yardbirds". Sources say that this might have been recorded in '69. The dates are very confusing, but the music's great...nonetheless Just incredible.... timeless. Plant's vocals are soaring high! I just added some pictures for viewing pleasure :D enjoy! |

iamblase ::: Favorites What's with the arguing? Everyone has his/her opinion. I posted this video for everyone out there who can appreciate it. If you don't like it, it's not my problem! If your ignorant sorry self can't seem to appreciate the talent, diversity, and creativity of the Zep.... it's your loss. 07-08-09 07:56:17 _____________________________________________________
vettezeppelin ::: Favorites Freedom of speech allows you to comment on things even if you don't understand them...but it also allows you to sound dumb and shallow. So when you make negative comments about musicians that are clearly at or near the top of the heap and are acknowledged by anyone who knows anything about music as virtuosos then you sound dumb and shallow but that's ok you still have those Def Leppard records you can listen to. 07-08-08 18:55:51 _____________________________________________________
zeppelinfreak51 ::: Favorites then why watch it moorlock 2003 you have to like it some what 07-08-07 20:09:27 _____________________________________________________
deanw0rmer ::: Favorites MOORLOCK IS A MORON 07-08-07 19:48:05 _____________________________________________________
moorlock2003 ::: Favorites Even Pete Townshend said he never liked Zeppelin. He's got good sense. 07-08-07 03:34:44 _____________________________________________________
P38Jim ::: Favorites To say that only idiots like Led Zeppelin is to say only idiots like Blues, Folk, Country, Rockabilly, Jazz, North African Modalities, Reggae, etc.. Led Zeppelin was a brilliant amalgam of numerous genres expressed in unique ways. I suggest you consider their entire corpus of material before you inadvertantly, if indirectly, write off nearly every form of music known to mankind. But then I suppose I'm an idiot. 07-08-07 03:02:14 _____________________________________________________
moorlock2003 ::: Favorites Zeppelin is probably the biggest ripoff band of all time. They have stolen so many riffs from so many sources you can't even count them all. Stairway to heaven was stolen from a song by Spirit. Whole Lotta Love was stolen from a song by Small Faces. And on and on and on. 07-08-07 03:36:51 _____________________________________________________
choonaga ::: Favorites come on by puff daddy was stolen from led zeppelin ice ice baby was stolen from david bowie and queen stroll on was stolen from the yardbirds (which in fact held jimmy page so led zeppelin has all the right in the world to cover that song) whole lotta love was taken from willie dixon who sued led zeppelin by the way there are so many bands who take other peoples stuff so get over yourself 07-08-09 15:30:33 _____________________________________________________ |
