paulquattrorunner ::: Favorites your comment is in fact incorrect. FISA cancelled Group B. Audi had made the point they came in to rallying and did not even contest the rest of the 1986 season. Audi came to rallying only to promote their cars, which up until then were seen as reliable but rather boring. This is also the reason they refused to move the engine to the middle like the other group B cars. To audi rally cars were supposed to resemble road cars.
