| dorbie ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 19:38:24 No it is not possible to learn to play well. You will play but pipers who listen will probably know how bad you are. Pipe bands are free or have minimal membership, pipe lessons 1 on 1 tend to cost. I recommend you get a good long polypenco practice chanter for now and a book. "College of Piping Tutor 1" with CD. Spend 6 months to a year on it and see an instructor very occasionally, but do see one. Worry about the bagpipes later, and spend the time practicing and learning about pipes. __________________________________________________ | |
