nope - this is would very bad for a bike because if you turned it off in 1st gear or something walked by and just shifted it down and you didnt know - when you remote start it, well lets say it will be ghost rider for a sec. (not a good idea)

Does it have a Remote start feature and Remote shut-off?

Problem solved 3 days ago. Finally :) Perimeter sensor is still in middle of seat, but I moved it little bit. What is the model year of your bike?

Yes, its in the middle of seat. The perimeter sensor sensivity is on minimum setting but it doesnt help. Will test again sometime before school. Perimeter sensor is important because people at school are so childlish and I want that they dont touch my bike.

(it will still be ringing but hey i ripped mine out of my bike in a public place and no one really asked anything) so test test test..

so take your time, think it thru and do it once.. then when your all finished - test it out in your school (i got a huge high school, so just make sure it can range from one end to the other) get a buddy to help ya. because if it doesnt send to your remote while it's being triggered, someone (like me) can just remove the alarm completely and just throw it off the bike

also test out your alarm system before you actually let it hang out at school.. make sure it will reach that range. my alarm actually broke (the remote in my hand, too much vibration from the bike - probbly just rattled the sh*t out of it) so need to buy a new one, and the other problem is my range on it.. it doesnt go very far for me. but once again - mine was in the glove compartment..

turn down the sensitivity - i had the perimeter sensor on 5 and i sat on the bike and had to move it before it set off. did you put it in the middle of the seat? i know alot of bikes can be different - also instead of putting your alarm in the cargo space, i would rethink it and put it on the fairing itself (hate to say it but it's way louder on fairing then in the golve compartment)

Vermino: Do you have a problem with perimeter sensor like I have. Sometimes even a bee or other insect can start the warning chirp or sets off the alarm? Many times some insect starts the warning chirps of the alarm when insect touches my bike. That's little bit annoying because im planning to take my bike(500cc) to school too, and it's not fun if the alarm chirps when no one isnt near my bike.

also Dont leave your pager on the key ring - it will vibrate the pager which eventually break it from the bike's RPM - mine just malfunction on the 4th of july and now got to buy another pager - put it in your jacket or on your backpack (or tank bag)

it had perimeter setting (the bottom left button) so when i get close it chirps but if you move it/touch it (hard) or put key in inginition - it sets it off.. I place my alarm in the trunk which should be on the fairing i believe (the trunk muffles alot of the sound)

hows it go off? just when you get close to it? or when the bike it like moved/touched? and does it sound that loud outside?
