Description: Question: Why was the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden to begin with? |

jiggymonkey ::: Favorites I figured out the answer to all your questions. God is schizophrenic! But on a more serious note, I do find it odd that nowhere in the bible does it say that the serpent in Eden is satan. It just says "serpent", "cursed... above every beast of the field", and "upon thy belly shalt thou go." It sounds like one of those stories about how the elephant got its trunk or something. 07-10-11 23:03:31 __________________________________________________
mermaidbabe ::: Favorites Who are you to question God? 07-10-03 23:23:41 __________________________________________________
NeoPrometheus73 ::: Favorites I believe that speculating about God is less offensive than defining God. Who are you to tell God who and what he is? If I knew there was a God and I knew his qualities, I would not question them. However, since knowledge of God is uncertain, I will withhold from defining him with a belief system that makes no sense. If you are incapable of questioning your own beliefs, then you'll never really understand them. 07-10-04 00:03:58 __________________________________________________
mermaidbabe ::: Favorites When did I tell God who and what He Is? Knowledge of God is not uncertain to those who are certain. If God is in your heart, you'd know it. I don't have to question my beliefs and why would I want to question my beliefs which are laid upon the most Righteous, Loving, Beautiful, Creator of all? That's where my beliefs belong and that's where I love them to be. 07-10-04 14:13:41 __________________________________________________
NeoPrometheus73 ::: Favorites Look, after your little endorsement of the Holocaust in my other video, I have concluded that you are so far gone that you are truly incapable of rationally examining your own beliefs as to their rightness or wrongness. You don't know the difference between interpretation and fact. You don't understand the concept or the process of interpretation. The Bible means whatever you want it to mean, mermaid. God help you. 07-10-04 14:35:00 __________________________________________________
mermaidbabe ::: Favorites Excuse me? You should probably go back and read what I ACTUALLY wrote. The Bible means what it's supposed to mean and nothing else. Thanks for your OPINIONS about my intelligence. 07-10-04 15:26:32 __________________________________________________
jaso52 ::: Favorites mermaidbabe, if you have no definition of God, what is the purpose of your original question, 'who are you to question God?' How do you know it is offensive to question him? As an aside, I think you should change your screen name if possible. Mermaids are creatures from ancient (and non-Christian) mythology... I don't think Jesus would approve. 07-10-06 07:07:08 __________________________________________________
mermaidbabe ::: Favorites Because questioning Him means you have no faith in His abilities. You have placed your judgment higher than His. I would change my screen name, but I don't want to lose my channel because it's already set up. I like where it is. Ain't going through it again. I chose the name because I painted them at the time. 07-10-06 22:50:11 __________________________________________________
xiaahmad ::: Favorites wat is dis?? God the father and God the son and God the HS and they come and tell us we belive in one God :D 07-09-27 06:22:57 __________________________________________________
MoslimDude ::: Favorites The original sin theory isn't only illogical it's unfair. Why would new born children be guilty of their ancestors sins? From an Islamic perspective, we reject it. As to why God put the knowledge tree in paradise to tempt Adam, isn't life itself a test? 07-09-15 23:37:54 __________________________________________________ |
