Description: This video is the second half of an interview with Professor Noam Chomsky on American Foreign Policy in Latin America, and Latin American integration. In the interview, Noam Chomsky addresses the traditional relationship between the United States and Latin America, the impact of neoliberal economic policies, and Latin America's "turn to the left." I am the Director of Investigative Reports for The Global Current, which is an international news show entirely run by undergraduate students at Seton Hall University. Our radio show airs every Saturdy morning in the NYC metropolitan area, and we also create videos for all of our reports and host them on YouTube. Please check out all of our videos on our main YouTube website, and also check us out on our blogger site: www.globalcurrent.blogspot.com |

mannerheimline ::: Favorites the british 'going all the way to China for tea' was only a result of its trade imbalance after it 'drugged' China by drowning China's people with opium which was against Chinese law. 07-08-25 22:17:17 __________________________________________________

trialofsocrates ::: Favorites The "Liberals" here are still supporting the Opposition in Venezuela, in Miami and elsewhere. People who believe in freedom should assit the Venezuelan people, the Chavistas, and listen to them. We also should expose the subversion tactics that we support in our press which harms the Bolivarian Revolution. PartyWithChumpsky ::: Favorites Whether it's the fruit or copper industry, we need those resources in Latin America, and the American people's demand for cheap goods will make corporations go out there and secure our goods. Just like the British going all the way to China for tea, the people wanted it, and the 'evil' corporation got it. We the people benefit. And many of those down there actually get jobs for once that their government couldnt give them. 07-06-10 12:16:04 __________________________________________________
