Description: The Forgotten is a documentary about my trip to Africa and the internal struggle i am left with. I went to Africa, more specifically the Kibera Slum which is right outside Nairobi,in August of 2005. My church has taken a group there for a little over a week for the past three years. It is a life changing trip, although often only for as long as we are able to really remember what we saw there.That is what my film is about, what i saw there and how hard it really is to live in light of that and actually empathize with those living there now.
